B.E.F. He was discharged 23/10/1917 I'm not sure which part of the army he joined up to, as my research shows that the
2nd battalion Irish Guards were not formed until after he left for France. Nevertheless, he ended up in the Irish Guards.
Regimental No 4472. He was awarded the British medal and Victory medal. |
