This place is nice & quiet, near Richmond, but the noise & bustle of the centre of the city are alarming. Spent yesterday at Shakespeare's England & this morning at Kew Gardens. Meg?
4) 16th July 1912 Postmark Newquay to Miss Edna Hay, Finvoy, Ballymoney, Co. Antrim, Ireland - Trevanion?, Newquay, Cornwall 15.7.12  My dear Edna, I daresay you are all thinking I have kept you long enough on postcards & that you'd like a few more items of news than it is possible to give on a card. This place is something like Portrush but large & not so crowded. We intend to stay till 24th, stay a night in London on our way back & reach home on Friday 26th. We thought when we had come so far we might stay as long as possible. I shall then go to Finvoy on the next Friday evening, that will be 1st August but of course you will hear from me again before then. This is very hot weather, today is scorching & there is every appearance of a continuance, so I'll likely shock you all by my sunburnt face when I go home. Did you go to Portstewart for 12th? The MacMurtrys were to go there for July, I wonder if you saw them. Miss was asking last time Aunt heard from her if you still take C. L. O. We are going on a trip to the Land's End tomorrow, 7 of us from this boarding house are going together, 5 women & 2 men. Were there any rows or disturbances on the 12th. You'd have known no difference between it & 11th here. Love to all from Mag
5) 16th July 1912 Postmark Sennen to Miss Hay, Finvoy, Ballymoney, Co. Antrim, Ireland - Tuesday. As I told Edna yesterday, here we are today. I think it should be hot enough even for you here. Hope all are well. M. H. H.
