To:- Mrs. T. H. Kane, "Northcliffe" Ramore Avenue, Portrush Wed. 2nd Sept. With Love.
My Dear Mother, Just a line with a photo of my Section which I hope you will like, I don't think you will have much trouble in picking me out. Had an Airgraph from Maude with a letter yesterday so I have sent her an air Mail letter with these photos, so you should have a read too as the two of them should be regular visitors to Northcliffe from now on or you will be asking the reason why. I am looking forward eagerly to your August Mail to hear all the latest news. I have so much to hear about and all the good times you are having at home.  Well Mother I sincerely hope you are all keeping well and also you are looking after your own health as much as you can, by the way I am bringing a little dog back with me and I want you to look after it and give it a nice hot supper every night.  I can imagine the remarks you had for that request were not very choice.  Cheerio Mother I send you all my love and best wishes, Your ever loving son, Tommy XX
